#atmfacts on Twitter? How did this hashtag get started? It all seems to be related to Obama.

The Messiah says ATMs are the reason for the bad economy so now we all want to boycott them. Because you know. They were here PRE Obama or anything.

And never mind that some banks charge you if you don't use only ATMs.

Next job creating plan: Obama retires teleprompter and hires a guy with flash cards.

I actually heard the full clip on the radio today and he said something to the effect of banks became more efficient and replaced tellers with ATMs.

Well, that's what businesses do. That is, constantly search for ways to innovate and do more with less so they can keep more of their profits and charge less for their goods and services so they can be more competitive.

Of course someone who works for the government wouldn't understand anything about efficiency.

I was confused about it at first, too. :-) Then I saw where someone had tweeted this.

I don't use ATM's unless I'm overseas because I would rather talk face to face with a person rather than try to navigate a machine. However, this is just ridiculous...why not go after the robots in car factories first because I'm sure that they're taking away 5 jobs for every machine they use.

I on the other hand started using ATMs about two years ago when BofA got rid of the envelope deposits. It's so much easier with the new scanning system they have in place. Though it is a bit slow. And I can't wait when they get the mobile app like Chase implemented recently.
