I started to watch in the past season, mostly for curiosity. But, I agree. Andrew Klavan had a great point, which he said at "Law & Order"'s demise: if left to its own device, a show will likely tilt Left, sooner or later.
I will say that the arc reminds me of JLU's Cadmus arc, but at least, Bruce Timm and co, tried not to be totally political with it. (Ironically, my problem with the arc was too little intellectual depth, too much fighting and the odd surprise of Brainiac/Luthor.)
What else is new? I'm not thrilled with what they did to Slade Wilson. (Best media version is the Teen Titans animated series in 2003.) I swear they got an actor that looks like John McCain for that extra dig.
