Union Worker Admits to Being Paid to Protest: Caught on Tape!

Read the comments section of this, as it explains what's happening! This is the kind of thing Republicans have been wanting to catch on tape for years!

The icing on the cake is that the same worker who admits he's being paid to protest says he's going to be voting for Brown and gets a high five from another fake protester when he says it!

Also: An MSNBC blowhard says "I'd cheat to keep these bastards out" (meaning Brown):

I'm not familar with what's going on in MA, but this is sad, and this is why I will never support unions of any kind. They are *always* corrupt

Considering that Kennedy is dead, he can get to vote ten times already.

OMG, That would be a hilarious SNL Skit, with dozens of bad Teddy impersonators continually caming in to vote at a polling place...

Kind of ironic to hear over the weekend numerous Democrats in Massachusetts taking jabs at Brown for driving a GMC pickup. You would think after taking over General Motors or Government Motors, they would be happy to see someone actually driving one of their products.

But since we are making jokes about driving GM vehicles, I will jump in and say that I would be more comfortable riding in Scott Brown's pickup any day rather than with Ted Kennedy in his Oldsmobile.

OK, your icon is awesome. That's totally something I would do if I saw that mean little cupid and happened to have my camera with me. Ha!

Also, ITA with you and regalpewter. Too bad SNL wouldn't dare tread on a dead Ted Kennedy. Alive, maybe, but now that he's gone, nope.

Then again, I am sure that SNL could do a skit with Scott Brown and Ted Kennedy doing an endorsment for GMC.

Michelle Malkin has a photo of SEIU mutineers for Brown ;). A lot of union members are required to join as part of their employment: teachers, firefighters, cops, paramedics, various gov't employees, etc.. It doesn't mean they are necessarily in agreement with the national union's politics. In fact, a lot of the time, they're not.

Ugh. This is absolutely the case. My mom had to join the union to work as a teacher's aide at the local elementary school. A teacher's aide!

She abhors the teachers union and the propaganda she is constantly inundated with as a member. Not to mention that she works with a bunch of zombified progressive union-lovers so she's constantly surrounded by that drivel as well. And her union dues?? Well yay, those go to funding the political campaigns of countless progressive politicians she adamantly disagrees with!

I've also heard that in places where people don't HAVE to join the unions, they are still required to pay union dues (under a different name) so they get their money all the same.

And none of this is even touching on how completely CORRUPT unions are, too.

This crap just makes me so mad. *RAGE*

Yes, that's true...except the money they collect from non-members can only be used for collective bargaining.

*Falls over laughing at that one.*

I don't understand why we can't just give people the choice to join or not (and if not, not have to pay) and then the (non-union) employees can choose for themselves what they want to "push for"/not "push for." If an individual wants a higher salary, they can ask the school administration for it. If they don't want to give it to them, the employee has a choice of quitting and going somewhere else, or taking what they've been offered. If the unions want to demand more money, better benefits, etc., they can all threaten to quit if not given what they want. If the administration thinks the money is worth it to keep them around, okay, if they'd rather hire people who aren't demanding as much, then I guess the union members will walk. (and good bloody riddance!!)

If public schools were more exposed to the concepts of the free market, it would actually make for better, more efficient education at much lower costs. *sigh*

... which is also why I support school vouchers.
