I have been in tears since I started reading this. It is SO gratifying to see that people can reach across the aisle and realize what GWB really meant for this country and the world. It saddens me that it took a visit to Ft. Hood for them to really realize it, but at the same time, it's right and just when compared to this current administration.

I didn't expect Obama to go to Texas. Thinking about it now, I would have been surprised to hear that the Bushes didn't go, because that's the kind of people I've always understood them to be.
