I genuinely think it, so I don't think you can really call it trolling.

And it is exactly this kind of "well it's not the child's fault" mindset that justifies forcibly sterilizing people or government limitation of the number of children per person. I don't believe in those things, because I believe in personal freedom first and foremost, but I see where they are coming from if it becomes the problem of people other than the parents. People should be responsible for their own kids.

It is no longer "freedom of reproductive choice" when your choice ends up being MY problem and MY bill, flat out. It infringes upon MY freedom to force me to pay for someone else's child, and that is a fact. I don't think it is indefensible to let a child starve rather than force someone else to foot the bill. Otherwise the U.S. is in big trouble for ignoring all those starving kids in Africa and where ever else, even if it would bankrupt us to personally feed every child in the world - because oh yes, "think of the chiiiiildren" etc.

Here's the thing though - no parent ever has to have an ounce of responsibility if the government will just steal from other citizens to take care of their children's needs. This is why (and I personally know people that have done this) there are people that are on welfare and have one child and then decide to have a second child because "the government more than doubles the money they give you if you have a second child!" Gross.
