The BP/Gulf Oil incident is just one more big reason why the United States needs to drill off its own shores.

Why?

Because USA companies can be regulated by the federal government.
Because USA companies care about our nation's environment whereas foreign companies do not.
Because USA campanies care about USA citizens and the impact upon USA businesses.
Because if we do not drill in our own land, other countries will take advantage of our land.
